Yay. Thank you. The comparison, though -- after what McGonagall said in the Three Boomsticks -- it was begging to be written. I imagine that watching Fred and George grow up was something else for Peter.

Incidentally, what's the story behind your icon? It fascinates me.

The two boys singing are Karl and Pete- who although they have girlfriends, and have split (Pete's band is now babyshambles)- love each other with the depth and breath of a thousand suns and just don't know it yet.

They had some really good songs - very young and spirited (like Don't Look Back into the Sun). I just got the boy on boy action when I started getting into the Sirius/Remus slash - and then it expanded to slash in general.

Hey, a question, how much longer is this story going to go? It's so huge and complete already (with Peter and Remus in the present) - where's it gonna go?

Also, have you finished that 'paperwings' (?) fic as yet? I really can't be doing with WIP's, although I actually liked the premise of that story.

oh my. This one has a bit more, at least. There is an End (with a capital 'E') that is very complete and all, but we still have stories to tell before we get there. I don't think we are going to write for every chapter of the Guide, realistically, but we've got a bunch of important ones waiting in the wings. You'll see when we got to the next one. :)

And cool! I might have to d/l some of the music.

Oh.

The ending just hit me right where everything goes all lovely and bittersweet. I love toying with the idea that Remus still had a family after 1981, that he wasn't completely alone. And it was good to see him healing. Also, the details in the whole chapter, but the last one and the bit about the chapel especially, made this whole book come to life.

Well done.

Yes, the ending is a wrench. I think it is my favourite part of the chapter. And as for the chapel, we figured that Hogwarts had to have one. It is kind of a requirement in medieval castles. And if Hogworts does have a chapel. it has got to be one of the more fun places to go and get into trouble...

Thanks! Having to make them young enough to a) all want to get girls and b) have no idea how to go about doing it gave me a lot to play with. I love our boys as pre-teens. They're so ickle and cute!

I love this, it really is brilliant.

And Cate, dear Cate, don't think I don't see you slipping bits and pieces of things into this. Remus-chicken. Gardenia Noble. I'm on to you, my dear.

And Nigel the Skeletal Crocodile. I think he could give Shoebox's Hector the Enormous Cockroach a run for his money.

Hee HEE! Actually, that was me -- on both counts. ;c) Just an homage to how much I love our Cate.

And I'm SO GLAD somebody caught that it was Gardenia Noble Peter took to Hogsmeade. Now, if anybody picks up on where Penny is from, my life will be complete.
