I love books. I love them a lot. This chapter leaves the bibliophile in me supremely blissed out. I heartily agree with The Many Other Uses of Books...
Li Po's Noodle Bowl (p. 349), which causes anyone who swallows so much as a sip to spend the next seventeen hours speaking in haiku. *grins* Also, any idea where I might get my hands on a copy of Ars Ebrietas? Because whoa. Good stuff.
I would hope there'd be more than just a party, but many parties. :D We'd try to be at every one we could get to, I'm sure. Most definitely if Mssrs M, W, P & P were all there too. :D
Oh, wonderful! I have a feeling I say this every time, but I do love Remus in this so, so much. The scene in the chapel was hilarious (I loved the organ blushing) and well, The R/S in the library...yes. And oh, Remus finding the Guide at the end had got me all teary now.
Aww. Thank you! Thank you for reading. Thank you for writing. We bask in your squeelicious glow.
Anyone who shuns a library shall DIE A HORRIBLE DEATH!!!
Heh, and be sorely outmatched by the Pranksters that while away the hours there.
"carry a pocketful of liquorice or dried rose petals with you during every library excursion," Umm, may I ask why we are carrying these items???
That's part of the secret. Suffice to say, that if you bring these items with you on your next late night excursion to the Hogwart's Library, you'll see what we mean. (Liquorice is somebody's favourite, and rose petals are perfectly pungent...)
UPDATE SOON!!!
That is the hope. The next chapter is well on its way.

And be sorely outmatched by me. I spend most of my days at libraries, whether at school, home, traveling or just in the community. I am a book freak.
(Liquorice is somebody's favourite, and rose petals are perfectly pungent...)
Wait...whose favorite? Damn it, I missed something. Shoot. What did I miss? Oh, now I am going to have to read all the Pranksters' Guide chapters that are out over again to try to figure out what I missed. It's not like I mind reading it over again, though. But you might get sick of my reviews, because I just might leave one after every chapter...

*squee* SO EXCITED!!!!!! YAY!!! *does happy dance*
Oh, I really loved this chapter, with the book theme running throughout.
Imogen wrinkled her nose. "You're going to drink it?"
"No, we're going to bathe in it," James replied. "Ceremonial ablutions. Cleanse the soul and all that. And after we're all squeaky clean, we're going to sit down for tea and crumpets--"
"--and knit mittens for homeless Muggles," Sirius finished. "We do this every weekend, you know. It's a humanitarian effort."
Ha! James and Sirius finishing each other's sentences, Sirius's loyal book, Remus having it out with the organ--all brilliant.
"I am implying that you are chicken. It's a metaphor -- or something. You. Chicken. Bock." Heh.
The journey from Sirius pining after comely, bookish Mr. Moony, stranded, snogless amid the Erumpents on a Thursday afternoon to humming daring-do (derring-do?) music under his breath to the quill-dust taste of Remus on a Thursday is just too lovely

Dude, if I could find a copy, I'd be all over that sh*t. And have a party. And invite you all.
Books are wonderful, and we simply figured that the cleverest boys in the school would not overlook that fact.
Thank you for reading!

Wadiwasi, indeed.
Oh! Love when he finds the guide as well. I think that may be my favourite part.
