Commentlog! I assumed as much!praxipadsJuly 13 2009, 20:43:05 UTC
[OH Mar almighty. Praxis suddenly does not feel so comfortable taking Jak to this doctor.
Don't get him wrong! He loves his wittle death bots. He just--look, there's just a reason those things only do the hurting and he leaves the healing to trained living professionals. That reason being robots are more suited for killing.
This robot is not allowed to kill his experiment. It is not it's stupid cybernetic right!
stupid hunk of junk.
Praxis locks his jaw and continues forward.]
I don't know how he received his wound, but not long after doing so, he and I got into a heated argument. I reopened his wound and he continued to agitate it for several minutes before then passing out.
[Precursors alive, did Praxis just answer that honestly?]
[Not long after Jak and Praxis had arrived on deck 2, Remy showed as well. He keeps his distance a little, just watching, listening and observing.
Jak had killed this guy and said he'd do it again. Clearly, even from Praxis' words just now, saying that they didn't get along was putting it mildly. Why would he bother to bring him to the infirmary?
He steps a little closer, waiting for the...doctor?...to ask more details of the fight.]
Re: Commentlog!autodiagnoseJuly 13 2009, 21:30:07 UTC
*Sorry Remy, AMU IS NOT INTERESTED.*
Understood; blood loss initiated by traumatic injury. Please place the patient on the nearest table.
*AMU wheeled back, giving the large man room to move by the exam table. In the background its processors whirred with electronic thoughts in binary; it would stop the bleeding, deduce if the subject was in need of a transfusion, close the wound and administer the needed components to accelerate healing based on species, age, metabolism, gender, nutrition.....*
[Praxis does as told, stepping easily to the table and gently placing the teen's prone down onto it. Once that is done, he steps away, backs into the nearest wall, crosses his arms, and watches like a hawk.
[Remy's eyes flicker back and forth from Jak to Praxis. He puts his hands in his pockets and holds on to his communicator, ready to contact the Major at a moment's notice.]
[He wants the details. He wants to judge how much of a threat Praxis is. He doesn't trust him at all, especially knowing Jak was willing to kill him again.]
[And Daxter is scurrying through the vents frantically, searching for the infirmary that way. His approach is probably marked by skittering claws against metal overhead.]

[AMU is oblivious to both scrutiny and conversation. It takes the subject's vitals - pulse, temperature, blood pressure - then quickly locates the wound. Ah, at his back. Using both the strong major arms and two of the smaller ones typically kept tucked against its torso, it rolled the young elf over and sliced through clothing and bandages to get at the wound.
My, that is bleeding, isn't it.]
Claw marks of the Ursus genus, species indeterminate. Common name, bear.
[AMU spreads a gelatinous anticoagulant on the flesh wound, applies pressure with sterile gauze and continues to take readings as it waits for the bleeding to stop. The subject's pulse was fascinating.]
[Aaaand looks like Daxter found the vent! He gives it a sharp kick, poking his head out before dropping onto the floor and scampering quickly over to Jak, clawing his way up onto the bed.]
Commentlog! Oh. Okay. CoolpraxipadsJuly 14 2009, 03:48:07 UTC
[When the rat tumbles from the vent, Praxis' face screws into a scowl. It's softens as he leans forward and motions for Daxter to come away from Jak. His tone reflects this, schooled into something less like an order and more like a suggestion.]
He stands and starts out onto the deck, looking for the infirmary.]

Thank you for bringing the patient. Do you have data regarding the extent of their injuries?
*The robot's servos and processors sound not unlike some of the KG 'bots. It should be nostalgic.*

His experiment.
Don't fuck him up, Robit.]

Why did you bring him here?

Eh?
Oh.
[He looks back to Jak.]
Because I don't want him dead, or mortally injured.
[Praxis shakes his head.]
He's so stubborn. I wish he would have just gone for help right when he'd first received that wound. it's really a nasty one.

[He sighs and leans back against the wall]
How did you reopen the wound?

[He tilts his head and looks around the ceiling, trying to find the source of that scratching.]
Do you hear that?
