Well, this week has been hell for me and my family. It's been taking a lot to just accept the fact that my father died. He was a great man, loved by many, and the support we have received has been wonderful. There's lots of things that still need to be done. I have to get things finalized with his work, regarding life insurance and pension

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I know from experience how hard it is to loose a parent. Hang in there.

so terribly sorry to hear about your loss. i go through life every day with a crippling fear of losing my parents. but it seems as though you've found a very mature, strong and level-headed way of viewing his life, instead of focusing on his death. good for you, you're a better person than i would be in the same scenario.
