It has been beaten into me to have tremendously high expectations of myself that are not realistic. This is something I truly want to change.

I almost suggested my dear childhood friend read The Prophet by Khalil Gibran but then realized he’s not ready for that. But also my child read it at age 12 because they were being sassy and I made them read it to gain some needed perspective… bad parenting or good parenting? Or parenting that will be referred to in a couple generations?

I had to make an "official" document today stating that my coworker and I are essential employees because we print for the hospital and utilities companies. I can't. We are finishing a project I was looking forward to making exceptional IE the PUD1 Mason County Utilities annual report. It's still beautiful but I am suffering from imposter syndrome ( Read more... )
