I've encountered some biphobia in my day, especially from queer rights organizations, but what I've encountered has been very limited. I think a large part of it is the fact that I am out everywhere. I am out to my parents, out at work, out to my friends, and my queerness is something that I own and claim in every part of my life. It's hard for someone to accuse me of claiming het privilege when that's the case. I've always had tons of queer friends, and been involved in queer rights stuff.
I've had people say "Oh, you're bisexual? So you make out with girls in front of your boyfriend?" or other such things... but I usually manage to make a comment to the effect of "Occasionally I make out with girls in front of my girlfriend, but that's just how I roll" or something else that makes them seem like a narrow-minded shit. If you're secure in your identity and who you are, and you feel queer, then claim your right to occupy queer space and hold a queer identity. People might give you shit, but that makes THEM confused, not
