Schooooooooooooool's out for summer! Wooot!

Made $40 tonight babysitting. Sweet. 'Specially since I only had $8 in cash to my name before about an hour ago. I wonder if that'll hold me over 'til I leave on Wednesday? I doubt it. I may have to use the ATM for the first time in my life. *Sigh* ... modern technology.

Today was the last day of classes. Woot! Finals start tomorrow. Last day for teachers is next Monday. So excited to go home on Wednesday of next week. Not excited to grade final essays. Booo! But thank God it's summer time!

Well, due to reading from 9am to 3pm (maybe only a half hour of no reading. I'm a slow reader. grrr), I have successfully finished my book. It was actually 900 pages instead of 800. Ah well. Good stuff. I recommend it. Now I need a new book, but I don't know what to read. Maybe I'll go reread Pilgrim at Tinker Creek. I claim it as my ( Read more... )

Why is it that I cannot get a teeth cleaning at any place in this friggin city without going through some serious drama w/ the dental people?? Jesus, why do you need an exam to clean my teeth?
