At a friend's office, the coffee machine has a sign marked "respawn point" over it.

I don't get it...

The respawn point is where, after you die in a game(usually a first-person shooter), your character magically comes back to full health to start play again.

Their building evacuation plan is prefaced with "In case of Fire, Earthquake, or Giant Monster Attack:"

I thought that was a nice touch. Other airports might have a bench or two past the security gates, but Milwaukee thoughtfully gave a name to that area.
