Besides his echoed footsteps, Issei was silent as he walked through the chapel. It had been years since he'd been in a place of worship other than his temple, but they'd always inspired a special sort of reverence in him.
He approached the beautiful statue slowly, appreciating its majesty, before turning to look at Haruto. "Good evening."
Haruto flinched at the sudden footsteps before turning to smile at Issei. He felt that he deserved a better greeting than a smile or a hello, but he couldn't figure out another way, and he felt a consistent heat in his cheeks that gave him a rosy tint to his usually pale cheeks.
"H-hello, Issei. How was your trip?" he chimed, attempting to keep his voice from straining, and turning to face the other.

...someone was blushing at him? Shouldn't it have been the other way around?
On cue, Issei felt his own cheeks start to heat up, and stammered, "H-how are you?"

"I'm fine. I just came in to see Santa Maria." he stated, gesturing to the statue before him.
