Frivolity

My bridal shower last Saturday went really well. My mom and Audrey did a great job planning everything and the people who came were so generous! I got some really nice things, oddly enough I recieved very few things that I registered for. But it was really nice to recieve frivolous things instead of practical things.

all your things are verrrry pretty. i really like the sushi plates. i kind of want to come over and make sushi now.
and the tea set is BEAUTIFUL. so holly, so lovely.

your scones look good. they might be a little textureally weird at first. but if you want we can have some strawberry jam and scone tea parties if you like. but they look good.

I have swooned over your tea set to every woman I have talked to this week! It is gorgeous!! I'm glad you were happy with everything (the sushi set was incredible too, what did you guys make to break them in?)

Scones look yummy. I wish I had your flair in the kitchen-- I made the fagioli and then chicken parmesan a few nights later and I am cooked out :P

Unfortunately we didn't "make" anything to break in the shushi plates, unless by "make" you mean go to a local sushi place and order a shit-ton of raw fish, rice and seaweed to go.

And the so-called "flair in the kitchen" is just 15 years worth of pracice. I'm telling you, I can make you into a madcat knitting, cooking, sexy MACHINE.
