Em-hem, I realised that I've forgotten to note a very important development for the upcoming year:

I, Dolores Umbridge, have been made PrefectOf course, it has been expected, and so it is merely a reassurance than it is a victory. It is merely the first step to my overall goal, which is, of course, Head Girl by my seventh year

I don't think it is fair to insinuate that any of the prefects are doing an inadequate job or shirking their duties. If it seems that way to you then perhaps it is because, not having attended any of the prefects meeting over the last year, you are not in possession of all the facts.

However, if you truly think that any of us are may I, as a senior prefect, suggest to you that the apropriate place to bring this up would be the introductory prefects meeting on the train and not a post made public in your journal.

Congratulations! I, of course, was able to achieve both such goals and can assure you that your ascent will be well worth waiting for. It prepares one for bigger and better things in the outside world.

Thank you! Indeed, I admit you have been quite an inspiration for my own goals. You were able to command such efficient respect from the students as well as the staff while you were Head Boy. I only hope that I can reach the same level as well.
