Just a random thought that I was having looking at my default avatar, What type of D&D class do you think Link (more precisely, Link from Ocarina of Time) would be?... other than the obvious Fighter

Actually, I think that he'd have to have a level or two in rogue, since he uses wands and stuff, too. Fighter is obviously the sword and shield stuff, as is the bow.

The best thing, though, would probably be making a different base class: since he basically plays in a high-magic campaign, I think he'd basically be like a ranger/fighter, but who can use magic device, and low-level magic.

Rangers have their own set of magic anyway, so I bet it could just be tweaked with a bit to fit the needs of Link, maybe? I agree with the ranger/fighter though. :3
