Paul finally came home and is doing really well. He is having trouble with his words and memory, but otherwise he is healthy and we are extremely happy and thankful for his recovery. I was really shocked that he was feeling like himself so soon after brain surgery, I don't think anyone I know would have been as strong as he is. I already recieved ( Read more... )

I didnt get a chance to visit paul today, he was going in for his 3rd and final surgery. They were just finishing when I left the hospital but I was too tired to stay, I need some rest before I go off to work. I am afraid. They are really worried he will loose his speech, and it will be very upsetting to go in there tomorrow if he cannot talk to me ( Read more... )

Today I had to wake up early and go to school so I didn't get to see paul until almost 5 o'clock. He was doing pretty well, considering his second surgery was yesterday. I went to work yesterday from 6am to 4pm, then went to the hospital to see paul. He was feeling a little better, and looked a bit better too. His nose stopped bleeding, he was eating a bit more, he could move a bit more without too much pain, and they said he'd even watched a few minutes of tv. Today was day 2 of pauls surgery. Yesterday he was nervouse, everything seemed to happen so quickly. He was prepped and sent off before we even got to say goodbye. Pauls surgery is going to be on November 1st. Hopefully everything will turn out ok and he will be ok. We are all really freaking out now cause it's so real and so damn close. I am not myself lately. I am doing ok though, and there's a lot more going on. I am just too tired to talk about it tonight.
