Testing out the macro features: reverse adapter supporting a 18-55 zoom lens (reversed) as a macro lens. Subject is a coleus flower (4-5 could comfortably lie on my little fingernail.

So, I return from Birka a week ago to find a package at the post office. A surging wave of good fortune had broken upon the strewn wreck of what had remained of good planning and the result was a new-to-me camera. Now, this little gem isn't a point 'n' shoot. Unseasonably Warm Weather Causes Flooding... Hundreds Flee

After 30 hours in the splint, I added a little more pressure and *crack!* the bone re-breaks. Y'know, Pain ain't all it's cracked up to be, but the finger is now pointing much more where it should be.

Re-tape the splint and hope for the best.

Oh... that and ---- OUCH!

So the x-ray makes it official. My finger is, indeed, quite utterly broken ( Read more... )
