One step at a time...

...I'm dragging myself into the 21st century.

Yesterday, I finally got the new TV connected to the 'net and to Netflix.

Compression artifacts are hideous, but I've already discovered a wonderful new BBC series.

Oh, TV will never be the same.

It is a good one. I watched it when it was playing on showcase.

I wonder if that was it... I really enjoyed it and then it just seemed to all stop... showcase and even, was it on PBS? I think so

netflix made me sad, lots for Shannon but I ate through all the Miss Marples in no time (there wasn't that much) and other favs. are non existent. There are a few movies I may re-watch but am trying not to watch all their worthy documentaries too quickly...

what I need is a similar service that has a playlist like "video difference"
http://www.videodifference.com/
there is a reason why they survived, and remain busy, when other video shops went under

I tried netflix for about 30 minutes... looking over their library. I'll stick to Zip.ca and DVD's in the mail. At least there is more of the modern stuff.
