Editor and Publisher, along with Columbia Journalism Review, is one of the two major journalism trade mags. So at the very least, it's in the media's conscience.

I knew something was seriously wrong with American press when, in Canadian newspapers, the headlines exclaimed, "Millions March in Protest of Iraq War!!" The New York Times didn't even cover it and the Washington post (apparently one of the most telling newspapers at one time) reported nonchalantly that "Thousands March ( ... )
