I made an attempt at creating more than one pound of Oyster mushrooms. I have 1# of sterile media that I have Oyster mushrooms growing in and I inoculated about 10#s of yard waste with half of it. In laymans terms...

I mowed the lawn.
I used some of the grass clippings and "planted" edible mushrooms in them.

People have file sharing programs. Ignorant people often share more than they intend with some of these programs. Other people using that same file-sharing system (like soulseek, bearshare, or any Gnutella agent) can get those images and view them. Most everyone's favorite fungus: Yeast! My Peach Mead is extremely vigorous. It is still bubbling up a storm. I estimate that at this rate it will take several months less than an average batch. This must has much more nutrients due to the peach additives. I may have this stuff by the end of the year ( Read more... )
