I know that I still have to post about Awakening (it was amazing!), but I know that's going to take me a while.  In the meantime...I went shopping today!  Christmas shopping!  That always makes me feel so good.  Plus, the cold front finally got here, so it kind of feels like Christmas too.  Ok, gotta get to wrapping!

So "sad" would be an exaggeration, but I am feeling a little disappointed that Ida is taller than me.  Yeah, my best friend and I are not the tallest people in the world and we had always play fought about who was taller.  But it was hard to tell because one of us would be wearing heels and the other not, or one of us would be wearing flip-flops ( Read more... )

Ok, that's an exaggeration, but I was really happy.  The other teacher came back to work today (after a month of being out of state), which means that she had all the babies, my boss had the toddlers and I only had the older kids.  Hooray!  But to be completely honest...my boss and I missed the babies.  So did the other kids.

Anyone who talked to me on Friday night knows how pissed off I was.  And as soon as I stopped being angry, I became very sad.  BUT...yesterday I took care of all that.  I went shopping!  It's amazing how much better a couple of dresses, a new purse, a going out shirt and about 11 new lip glosses can make me feel.  I was practically giddy.  Then I ( Read more... )
