Thankful and catching up
I'm sorry that I'm so far behind. I really did have a great Thanksgiving, but some family drama came up, and it was hard to be thankful without sounding bitter or sarcastic. So, I will catch up now ( Read more... ) -
Thankful day 23
Today, I am thankful that I knew that Lynyrd Skynyrd was named after a teacher (who recently died). I got the trivia question right, but sadly, we lost the round.

Thankful
November 22nd
Today I'm thankful that my dad taught me how to read a map. So when my GPS or other directions don't get me exactly where I need to be, I can look at the map and get myself there. -
Catching up, again
Nov 20 - I am thankful that everyone at the gym is so positive and encouraging! And I'm thankful they'll freeze my membership while I'm gone in December, so I don't lose nearly a month of membership.
Nov 21 - I'm thankful for weekly brunch at the Trolley Car Diner with my most awesome boyfriend. -

I am thankful that even in all of my clumsy moments, I have never seriously injured myself. Only bones I have ever broken were my toes (and I used to be a gymnast, so that doesn't really count - it's just par for the course) and the only time I had stitches I was so young I don't remember it.

I am thankful for the excellent teachers I have had in my life, and not just in the classroom. Thank you for encouraging me to follow my dreams, guiding me, picking me up when I fall, and reminding me that I can do anything I set my mind to if I'm willing to work hard for it.

Today, I am thankful that I have enough. And then some.
