I say go for it. Heritage Green can find another ECE to take your place. It's not a big deal. If you think you would be happier changing careers, don't feel guilty about taking the in through your mom. I've seen a lot of really bad receptionists come through the office, you would be more qualified than any of them just by having an IQ above 80.

... Now you've got me thinking of taking my own advice and changing careers.

Nepotism for the win. Do it. You'll need the extra $10k anyway for university and stuff. If my parents could get me a job that paid more, I'd be there in a flash. Faster than flash, I'd break the speed barrier.

... then again, I loathe everything about my current job, so there isn't any reason to stay at all.

See, I'm thinking that's maybe my problem, I like the people I work with. However the other day, I had a scary realization when I figured out if I left there would be about 4 kids I would actually miss...
