HYPOCRISY = getting mad when someone tells you to open a window if you're hot...but finding it ok to tell someone to just put on a jacket if they're cold.
sometimes i hate my work.

you know, it's nice of cities to offer cash to upgrade your old appliance to a new energy efficient one. but who's going to come crying when the landfill is filled with hundreds and thousands of old refridgerators/air conditioners/water heaters/dishwashers?

(which for me, is AMAzing, since i've set the stove on fire 4 times - including while boiling water - shawn only twice - and i've burned rice and those place-on-the-cookie-sheet-and-bake-cookies and ruined tons of meals...)

i'm trying soooo hard to get shawn to apply for the "gus the bus" opening so that i can find out how they made him talk!
they used to even let us go on it to try and figure it out (the brilliant 1st graders that we were were looking for a tape recorder of sorts), and we never knew....
