best buy threatened legal action against every site that had it's black friday ad up. losers. what should they care, it was making people WANT to go there, and it's going to come out in 4 days anyways!
Well, my dad and I were talking about it, and he made a good point - they're relying on people to make impulse buys by only letting the ads out on Thursday. Because the more you think about something, the less you can justify spending that much money on it...unless it's something you were already planning on buying anyway, and were just waiting for it to go on sale.
He was saying how grateful he was to have gotten it a week ahead of time, cos each passing day makes him realize how much he doesn't need some of it. Hehehe.
It still sucks that they're threatening legal action, though. Like you said, it's not like the entire universe isn't gonna have the damn thing in four days anyway. What's a lawsuit gonna accomplish except...nothing?
lol, that's a good point. and i s'pose comparison shopping makes it a bit harder to excite people enough to go in there- they can probably find close to the same deal on ebay or somewhere else w/o having to be at a store at 5 in the morning...
