i'm in toronto at my aunt & uncle's house again for thanksgiving. this time my cousin has mono so i've been spending most of my time thinking about not getting it, frantically washing my hands, and wondering how even in his diseased state my cousin has more energy than i do ( Read more... )

aw it's so canadian, i love it!
ps. i also didn't get any pumpkin pie this year. but i'm lazy, so i'll likely buy some when i get back to the hammer, as opposed to baking it myself.

it's kind of weird for me to think of it as canadian, since i had never seen the leaves turn red until i moved here (we don't have trees that turn red/orange in alberta)... but yes, with the flag and everything, it is totally canadian! haha.

as for the pie, it's actually really easy to make! you can use frozen crust and canned pumpkin and mmmmmm. i'm getting excited already.

What kind of wierd trees do they grow in Alberta? psh evergreens.
