if you can afford $55 canadian, I'd go for the double decker bus. good for 48hrs, they take you everywhere, tell you about it all, and youcan get on and off as much as you like.

but aside from that, central park. FAO Schwartz. Century 21 was awesome for shopping, and its right down by ground zero, city hall, and the law buildings. Canal Street, china town for food, but go in the afternoon.

You're going to have so much fun! Make sure you tell me what you did when you get back! Everyone's trip is different!

when you go to central park, don't forget to stop off at strawberry fields! (http://www.centralparknyc.org/virtualpark/southend/strawberryfields)

Can't forget times square at night! The Toys R US there has a ferris wheel INSIDE... or at least it did when I went there in grade 11.

Shopping wise: FAO Schwartz, Tiffany's (we got sooo many dirty looks when we were there) and china town.

I love NYC!

My mom just got back from New York. She recommends the Empire State Building and Times Square. She also saw a show there called "The Drowsy Chaperone" that she liked. I've never been to NYC however, so I have no suggestions myself.

Have fun :)

My mom says there's a place that she got 1/2 price tickets for that show she saw, but you can only get them on the Saturday. She forgets what it's called, but it's really close to the Times Square Mariott...so, if anyone else knows what it's called, maybe you could check that out.

It pretty much is the Times Square Mariott... don't know the name, but on the bottom level, right next to the starbucks, opposite side of the building from Times Square. Just go straight through the lobby.

However, to get the tickets, unless you're somewhat lucky, you'll be in line for a while.

Good pointer !!
