so i absolutely loved trekking in the jungle, i love just being in the jungle walking around, and even the leeches didnt taint it for me, god bless dettol and its magic leech repelling powers! we did 5 days of nest surveying, and 4 of small mammal trapping. im back from the hospital :) all went fine, didnt really hurt at all! the local anesthetic stung a little bit, but only for a second or two and then it was just like a tugging on my head! all done now, stitches are disolvable so they dont need to come out ( Read more... )

i finished at the vets on friday, and it was reeeeally slow all throughout the day, but then at like 5 to 7 (7 is closing time) an emergency cat comes in, with its urethra totally blocked and a very full bladder. so we admit it, and decide to catherise it etc....so while the vet was getting ready me n owen are running around the operating rooms ( Read more... )
