Man I'm sleepy. Do you think anyone would notice if I curled up under my desk and slept away the afternoon? I think I could move my chair in front so they wouldn't even notice at all. Ugh, I really need some sleeping pills or something, because this is not working for me.

Things always happen when I have too much to do.

Fire is moving back toward my house. I think they may re-evacuate it. I sure hope my mom gets to my dogs in time.

So I found out this morning that my house is okay. Three or four houses on our street burned down, so we were pretty lucky. Good to know though after two days of not knowing anything for sure. Especially since they like completely stopped talking about Ramona yesterday on the news. My mom and dad were out of town, and got back to all of this Monday ( Read more... )

So my friend Orion, an amazing person, has a brain tumor. He goes into surgery Tuesday and I can't even begin to believe that such a thing is happening. I tell myself he'll be fine, but I have no idea. Which is scary. Extremely scary.

As if being cooped up in the newspaper all day Saturday is not enough, the cast of Legally Blonde 3 from the sorority rush week convention are down stairs signing/shouting the same wretched sorority themed song compilation that they have been singing the last four hours ( Read more... )
