what a weekend, I'm exhausted...

the weekend was spent going between a very muddy Glade festival and a flooded road at home - we were lucky as it got as far as the front door but didn't come in. Spent all day friday sweeping water down the road into the canal, so glad it's drained away now and fingers crossed for no more floods!

here's the story so far: saw a house we loved in the village, put ours on the market, put an offer in on the house in the village which was not accepted as we hadn't sold ours, house in the village sold, ours sold, looked round more houses not in the village, found a house in Burghfield, put in an offer, offer accepted, now our buyer has pulled out ( Read more... )
