I love you to annoy me. So don't shut up and keep "annoying" me ( ... )

I think the word "fetish" is way overused. It's not a "fetish" if you happen to just like a particular trait on certain people.

I can understand the grief you get. People who use those words for cross-cultural relationships are betraying their own prejudices.

Thank you so very much. *hug*

I think there are some very attractive shaved-headed women, including Sinead O'Connor and the late Persis Khambatta (from Star Trek: the Motion Picture.)

What's wrong with loving bald women? For that matter, what's wrong with loving anyone?

They're idiots, and I like you. :-)

I don't see anything particularly wrong with it, either, but I've gotten that accusation before. K laughed at it, though, and said she clearly had a long-hair-and-bangs fetish, in that case, because I never change that basic hairstyle much. I just think she's the most fascinating woman I've met at any hair length.

This morning, she was feeling so excitable and exuberant, she danced all around the house, dancing on the couch and coffee table and doing backflips off the chair, I got concerned (she has several Friday classes) and told her she needed to pace herself. But I thought she looked so cute and happy, too! Maybe I have a Mexican jumping bean fetish, too. :-)

Thank you so much. I like you, too. :-)

I'll try to write later about the rest of the ignorance you encountered yesterday, but I have a minute to post before I take the kids to school, and I wanted to say *something*.

For the record, I found your request for panda sponsorship to be both sweet - 'cause who doesn't love the furry cuteness?? - and philanthropic! It's generally a given that someone, somewhere is going to do something for your birthday, n o matter how small. Telling people you'd love for that small thing to be a donation to one of the many fine zoos in our country who are paying exhorbitant fees so that we all may enjoy pandas in our country - or any other animal, for that matter - struck me as both generous and mature. It's not unlike requesting donations to pet causes in lieu of flowers at a funeral, but you are still around to enjoy the gifts people send in your name.

I thought it was a truly excellent idea, and a typically thoughtful one, coming from you.

And, happy birthday.

Can I say I just love this sentence? This idea? :-)

Apparently it's not normal to some people for adults to celebrate birthdays or make any kind of fuss over them. This morning, having been properly cheered up, I just think someone oughta bake them some cupcakes when their next birthday rolls around. Might improve their disposition.

Thank you so much for taking the time. *hug*

Apparently it is asking an awful lot of the world to want legal recognition of my marriage and the tools my wife and I need to care for each other the way we need to. (The tools we would get without question if one of us were male.) So it must be because I'm "spoiled" (which I happily acknowledge; I wasn't always) that I expect such an unreasonable thing.
