wassup livejournal? long time no write huh? well today is the day of my demonstration speech for business English. i missed reading so much!
I just finished reading "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley and I feel great. I feel like I have some sort of new energy, like I've found something I was missing that I used to have. I feel more like a real person with an identity and less like a strange infant. This has seriously excited me. I think I have found what I need to be able to write ( Read more... ) -
i want to write like this:
The Times reports that Mrs. Madoff "is viewed as an unrepentant beneficiary of ill-gotten wealth, a petite and well-dressed embodiment of the collective, bloated greed that helped topple the stock market and the housing industry." Whether or not the public scorn is justified seems to be beside the point. -

So today was alright, I'm glad I got more sleep anyway. Well the biggest thing that happened today was my ServSafe Certification exam. I'm pretty sure I did well on it, but I won't find out until like July or something crazy like that. Well technically I guess that's not that far away, but still, it would be nice to know sooner. OMG nervous!
So, tomorrow is my ServSafe certification exam. I am very nervous about this. One for a good reason; because I don't know if i retained everything I needed to, and secondly; because the class is in a different room than usual. Well I decided it's been a little while since I've written in here, so I thought I'd go at it. Today is Wednesday, and so far, I haven't done too much. I had Business Math this morning where we had a homework quiz, and then went over the next chapter. Well today is Monday. Yay. It is currently around 2:38 as I write this entry, and I am quite tired. I didn't sleep well again last night because I drank a very large bottle of water and a cup of tea right before bed. That was a very dumb idea apparently. Well, I technically started school yesterday. I say technically because it is an online class, so I didn't go to the school in person, but I did log on to the lil' Blackboard thing for my Culinary Nutrition class and check out my first assignments and what not.
