my PS2 is officially dead.  *cries*  I guess its time to get a new gaming system.  But I can't afford anything new.  I guess I'll go check out gamestop or something for used systems.  They always have X-box and Wii, maybe I can find a used PS3 mixed in.  Otherwise, I'll just be getting another PS2, and that just seems pointless.

well, I'm going to troll ebay for a bit and see if I can get a really cheap unit. If I don't luck out, I will totally take your PS2 off your hands.

Right. Which would make sense. But I REALLY doubt that you'll find a used PS3 for anywhere near, looks up, $130 apparently. Plus there's been all kinds of problems with the PS3's and the if there are any used ones they'll likely be one of the ones that kept f'ing up :(

If you go PS3, be careful. The 40GB models (399.99) can't read PS2 games.

yeah, I know. Every auction, I make sure it says that its compatible with PS2 games.

If you don't mind having a minor credit card bill, best buy has their own credit thing going on. I think if you got the 80GB PS3 you would have 6 months to pay it off no interest.

And you can pay your bill online. Least that's what I do.

GameStops I think sell used PS2s for $99 and warranty them for 90 days. I think the might even take broken trade ins but I don't remember.
