I believe the only backwards compatible PS3 is the 60gb. The 80 and the 40 gb ones are not.

Josh has the 40gb.

yeah... but if the bidding went over $400, not likely to be the 40...

the new 120 is supposed to be (whenever that comes out)

From what I've read, the 60 GB is the only one currently accessible that has the actual PS2 software. The 80GB can play PS2 games via software emulation, but I've heard it's really buggy and doesn't always work.

Nice deal! I've been addicted to Rock Band, Ratchet and Clank, and Uncharted since we got the thing.

I'll probably have to wait to actual get any new games, because I still have a bunch of PS2 titles to play.

But I really want to play Rock Band. Although its pointless for me to get, cause I have no one to play it with.
