Most bodies can fluctuate in weight from 1-5 pounds throughout the day. It has to do with how your body is processing food and expending energy. It's crazy and it makes no sense. The more you weigh, the greater the fluctuations can be.

A digital scale at the same time every day, wearing the same (or no) clothing, is the best indicator.

I second what the last two said and also suggest you weigh yourself only once or twice a week. Scale hopping will make you nuts. At least it does me.

I weigh myself when I wake up on Tuesdays. Although sometimes I cheat to see what my progress is like and weigh myself on friday mornings too because I'm a bad monkey. I did today and I lost almost two pounds since Tuesday. So if I'm not an asshole and eat like shit this weekend, which I am reallly trying to avoid, I should be able to continue the loss. I've been stressed out and eating like and A hole!
