Foreboding of Non-boarding

 American Airlines had best get their act together fast! I'm supposed to fly out to Chicago on Tuesday and I foolishly booked my return for the last flight out on Thursday night. They lured me in with those direct flights! No layover with the potential for cancellation, I thought. Such luxury

Yikes!! Even though I'm scheduled on a different kind of plane than the MD-80 now, I still feel skittish about it.

Next time, I fly there. Dodging random pieces of metal flying off the back of pickup trucks in Louisville made me swear to never set foot in Kentucky again, which would mean excessive detours to drive back to Chicago.
