Okay, I FINALLY got my damn financial award letter, and now I have to scramble like mad to get my loans in order. I've love to hear any advice you might have

Does the school you are attending have a financial aid center or office? If so, your best course of action is to make an appointment with a financial aid officer *Soon*, take your paperwork and ask a bazillion questions. Establish a relationship with said officer, get their business card, and call back with the next set of questions you will have later on in the week.
The office is located in Oklahoma, so dropping in for a visit isn't particularly doable. :-p Not to mention classes start in TWO WEEKS (I didn't get my letter until Friday), so there's so little time to get this all sorted.
What she said. Go to the financial aid office. They're there to help you.
Did you win the Stafford already? It sounds like you did. For me, my Staffords were deposited directly into a disbursement account at USC Credit Union that the school set up for me. I was then able to draw on it to pay tuition bills. I think they may be asking you where you want them to be disbursed to, if they don't have an internal credit union where they set that stuff up for you. Staffords have one term and one term only, and they come from government sources, so it's not like you apply anywhere else for a different rate.
The office is located in Oklahoma so I certainly can't drop in for a visit. Additionally, classes start in two weeks.
I got a subsidized and an unsubsidized Stafford loan with instructions to pick a Lender from a list of Lenders and submit the Lender code on the form, which I assume I need to send back them (they didn't specify)? Hopefully that'll just ... work?
Any insight on private loans? Apply to a single one or several to see who offers the best deal?
All I did was choose the lender and it just worked. Don't have any experience with private loans, but will soon. Sorry, not in time to help you, however.
I think with private loans you should cover as many bases as possible, and apply to several, then pick the one that best suits you. Especially since you're running out of time, you can't wait to apply, then get an answer, then move to the next one.
