You've really described to the point the life of a special education teacher. I have so much paperwork due to referrals and testing and not enough staffing so my kids are the ones who suffer because they can't get all of their hours and services that they deserve. I wish the system would change but I feel like I'd just be holding my breath.

I truly admire you. I can't imagine the exhaustion and the frustration that comes with that job. But I am so thankful for those who do it! *hugs*

This is a great entry about a terrible situation. It’s unfair what we’re putting on all of our teachers, but especially special education. My parents have both retired from public education recently and I admire anyone fighting that good fight.

What an awful situation, both for the teachers and the students. Paperwork over resources is not helping anyone.
