Merry Christmas everyone

I haven’t got round to doing cards this year - we’re still on birth announcements! - and so I’m feeling very bad, particularly as some of you have sent me such lovely cards and gifts. So I’m doing this post instead to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and share some things I’ve been thinking over the last few months.

Not gunna comment on the religious content, as I hold my own beliefs there, other than to say good luck!!
Merry Christmas to you my dear, I hope you guys have a great time together. This first Christmas together will be very special, so I hope that you treasure each and every second of it.

Iri- that was a wonderful entry. Read it all the way through, and I think that is probably the best NYR that I've heard thus far. Funny how having a little one of your own makes you start wondering and thinking on Jesus. IMHO, I think Jesus was like a normal baby in that he prolly did cry and burp up on Mary and Joseph. I mean, he did run off to the temple without telling his parents when he was older. Remember? And when they found him, he just figured they knew where he was, so why worry. Yes, I truely believe that he was a very normal mischivous kid that liked to play with his brothers and sisters and do normal kid stuff. Heck, he didn't really even know how special he was til he was baptized by his cousin John and the dove came down and he heard God's voice saying "This is my son, the beloved..."

Anyway, hope you have a Wonderful Christmas with your family, and that Xavi continues to be a joy to you and Hubby. {{Hugs}}
