I think my sixth period hates me.

or, at the very least, they have zero respect for me. which is even worse.

it's disheartening.

i just found out one of my students is homeless.

i got a note yesterday, on just my third day of teaching, from a student saying she loves my class and thinks i'm going to be a great teacher...that she's looking forward to this year.
