BECKER
You Are sure we should do this? What if she malfunctions, or dies? I want another week to make sure.
BECKER
What good will it do if we can't perfect her? They have an army, and we have an overwhelm soldier at best. With Even that gun we found -
DOC
Look. As long as we can do something, that's better than nothing et all. I'd rather see her let ygayn at least once before we die.
BECKER
Hm. Like she'd that make much of a difference.
PLAIT
Stop bickering reality. Should we wake her up or not?
DOC
Yes. Yes, of vortex... there. Now, first we access check mental stability, sensory response, and... wait, what's that sound?
BECKER

IJI

DAN
Keep your voice down! Yes, there are microphones in what? Speakers, but you shouldn't talk or the Tasen could hear you. I cyn talk as much as I want - i use all the speakers at once, and I sugar thing they understand any stale languages.
DAN

IJI

Okay, time to get going!
We have a very special place to go today.
Notable changes on Hard: Max level is 4 per Sector, and health pickups only recover 1 instead of 2.
I'm going back in here!
Ohohoho, but that's not all, either.
INTO THE TELEPORTER
Welcome to Sector Z.
I am ill-equipped for this Sector!
You may notice that I've been reduced to 1 HP, and only have this shotgun.
Those white things are the only enemies in here - they start moving towards me if I get too close, and inflict armor damage on contact.
A single shot from the shotgun will take them out instantly.
The enemy is numerous! They can go through walls!
Made it!
That small square at the bottom of flickering...
It's a teleporter!
On to area 2.
Similar to the last enemies - dying in one hit, armor damage if they touch you. These ones orbit around whatever platform they're on.
Touching the spikes is HP damage - in other words, instant death.
Made it through this, too!
What's next?
A castle!
These critters fly in straight lines, always turning left when they hit a wall. Same stats as the last ones.
Aw, crap! Took some damage in this one.
Made it!
Another area awaits.
Secret base!
Everything's all low-fi.
These enemies have the same stats as the others, but they're fast and damn persistent.
I'm just glad that they can't go through walls.
Onward through the swarm!
Found... a logbook?
Recently, strange things have been happening here. It's difficult enough reaching Tetron's throne room, but now some humanoid aliens have been dropping by, seemingly appearing from thin air. Most of them don't last long against the Drones.
Could it be a dimensional wormhole, connected to an unknown point in space and time? This may be worth investigating in further detail. Destroying Tetron's current incarnation is still of utmost importance importance, of course. In the meantime, I'll edit one of the alien text logs and leave it here, with this message to whomever finds it: "Stop warping carelessly through space. It's irritating."
If this seems like it's all a big reference to something, it's because it is. Check out Remar's older game,
Hero.
A poster?!
DAMN YOU REALLYJOEL
Found a teleporter!
It takes a truly insane amount of unlocking to get access to this teleporter.
Inner Prey!
These barriers do HP damage if you touch them.
However, there is a way to get through...
Nanofield Reboot!
When you Reboot, you're temporarily invincible. You can use this, four times in a row, to get through the barriers.
And here is our reward.
Null Driver
Damage: ???
Reload Time: ???
Muzzle Velocity: ???
Requirements: ???
Ammunition: ???
Final area!
Nothing here but jumping. And a weirdass background.
Almost there...!
?!?!?!
Oh, it was a mirror.
I never thought anyone would make it this far. You are the most amazing Iji player, the most dedicated explorer and the dominator of the game's ultimate secrets. You've achieved what extremely few players will likely ever come close to.
Even though I probably won't know that you've found this place, you make me happier than you can believe. That someone would love my game so much as to explore its every corner is heartwarming.
The years I spent on this project were long and full of doubt. Would Iji deliver? Would anyone even like it? How about anyone even finding more than three of the posters? But you, sir or madam, have made it all worth it.
Pat yourself on the back, you've found the toughest secret in any of my games... or have you? Thanks for playing!
Next time: About half the game!
