so over a long period of time ive relaized that i do not want to study theatre in college. i was supposed to have an audition at Emerson today, but im not going and i am withdrawing my application from the school since i now know that i really do not want to go there. im still auditioning at MMC though, because they have hummanitities courses so if

you made me re-think my application to emerson too. god knows i'm not studying theatre, but i realized that it was waaay too specialized and the only reason i'd go there is if i only got into emerson and ithaca. i feel like i'm copping-out bc i'm not applying to any schools w/o the common app (i originally had two that had separate apps, but i'm now not applying to one and possibly both). i dont know what i'm doing yet, but you made valid points...

yeha... i jsut realized id be way too restricted and im tired of making myself think that i have to do theatre jsut because i have done it for so long. im applying to Umass amherst, MMC, Hunter Honors, Skidmore, St. Michales college, Suny Purchase and maybe U mass Boston

yeah, that was my biggest opposition to emerson, but it would still be fun. but at the same time, i get so excited when i read course descriptions of english courses at other schools, i feel like it would be stupid to give that up and go to a specialized school like emerson..
