That's a good chunk of change... take it to the bank. They probably have a coin machine to sort & count it, and then you'll have about $35 more in your account. (Hey, you could always do a betting pool on how much money it is.)
Unfortunately I had a bad habit of tossing in any old coin-- like wheat backs-- into this bottle. So we should probably sort through it first. But then I am looking forward to putting into a coin machine.
That's pretty awesome. Have you counted it yet? I'm trying to think of a suitable cause that could use a donation of broken wine bottle money, but so far I haven't come up with anything clever. (Our change jar at home is the political action fund; last time the Sierra Club came from door to door we gave them a handful worth between $5 and $10. I keep meaning to re-count it and give as much as I can to Planned Parenthood.)
Don't feel to "broken up" about it (sorry). It was a cheap bottle of Gallo that my parents enjoyed with some friends while playing cards. I can't remember where the horrible wine came from, but they sucked it down while chortling to themselves how much better it kept getting. It was a fun evening.
