Picarats 005 [VIDEO/ACTION IN ROUTE 30/31]

Sep 20, 2010 15:55

[It's finally day time and the fog has finally disappeared. And like a lot of the other people here sending in relief messages all over the network, Professor Hershel Layton is doing the same.

The camera shakes for a few seconds and there's a horrible muffling sound as the Professor is positioning his gear once again. He really made it a habit to ( Read more... )

Thankfully it's over now.

Yes, it's all over. I do pray that anything of the such would ever happen again.

Are you harmed, Miss Kazehana? I hope not.

I hope for the same thing.

[She shakes her head.]

No, I'm not. Shinjiro-Senpai was with me when everything happened. And you, Layton-San?

That is good to hear. I don't want you to get harmed because of all this madness.

[Ahhh, and now the question is turned back towards him. Well...See those hands of his and those little bandages people only use for paper cuts? Yeah...it's all over. Totally trying to act normal.]

I am...fine, at the very least. Just a few cuts, but overall, I'm good. Luke thankfully stopped me before...things escalated...

Where are you now, Miss Kazehana? In Violet City or still on Route 31?

EDITED TO FUDGE UP THE GRAMMAR SOME MORE. used_beatup September 20 2010, 20:19:51 UTC
[ooc: hahahaha I stayed up late beating it too. Solving the hardest puzzles on sleep deprivation made me question my own sanity.]

You too, huh?

[okay, well, he isn't gonna ask since Layton requested not to, but he only caught a handful of the messages in his pants-finding rampage. This confirms that it was more widespread than he thought.]

I caught one o' them skulls too. I figure we cleanin' up the streets that way.

(( OOC: Oh man, I know what you mean. I'm trying to find the last two puzzles in the story and I'll solve them all. I need to get 5200 for the movies. ;_; ))

[The Professor nods. Yes, unfortunately, him too.]

But ah, you caught one of these skull-like Pokemon as well, my boy? They seem all over the place.

Yup, but if people keep catchin' em, they'll thin out. You gonna teach your skull some manners? They was the ones makin' people freak out, y'know!

[at least, that's what he's been informed]

Yes, and hopefully they'll thin out quickly, before they decide to begin more mischief around here.

Ah, I have heard of that. I am not surprised. Quite a few of them were rather, erm, enjoying all of this.

[Such as popping out of nowhere and going "BOO WHAT'S UP SHITTING YOUR PANTS I SEE WELP I'M GOING TO SCARE OTHER PEOPLE NOW" to the Professor quite a few times.]

But yes, I will try my best to teach this Pokemon some manners. It cannot go around scaring others now. I assume you will do the same?

I think everybody's fine now! I almost drowned and all, but that happens. You live and learn, you know?

[... totally cheerful about all this now that it's over, yup.]

[What. This boy almost drowned, but he's completely fine with it? And he's cheerful? What]

Oh dear, that didn't sound too good. I trust you are fine now, my boy?

Oh, yeah, somebody fished me out or something. [waving a hand dismissively.] At least nobody was under there shooting at me.

W-Well...that's good to hear at least.

[Though why would someone be shooting you? Y'know what, this is starting to make his head hurt...]

Is the fog over in your area all cleared up? Route 30 and 31 seems fine here.

The Violet City mart does have a larger supply, though it still isn't much. It's good to see you well, Professor.

Ah, wonderful! As long as it has more than the supply back in Cherrygrove, I am quite happy.

And it's quite relieving to see you in good health as well, Miss Tenjoin. I trust you escaped all of this nightmares safely?

[ she hesitates, but going into detail about her brother's soul never being free is... probably not a good idea, so she'll give him a faint smile. ]

Not entirely, but I'm all right now.

[The Professor nods. He doesn't try to pull any more about Miss Tenjoin's nightmares. He already knows what it's like to experience one and not be willing to speak of it.]

That's good to hear. I am afraid that these ghost-like Pokemon has caused quite the trouble for us.

[Hi, there's now an unnamed Duskull staring at the screen and into your soul. PS: You look reaaaaally yummy. Where are you so I can eat you?]

[OOC: I'm on that game right now... aaaa so many puzzles stump me XD;]

I'd rather not talk about what I experienced as well, even if it was for a short time.

Though I'm still considered 'new' here, so... hopefully things like this are not commonplace.

(( OOC: as;ldf Yes, the puzzles in the third one are ridiculously harder than the first two games. But the story in this one HNNNNRG ))

I agree. There are somethings that everyone rather not speak about.

Hm, I have only been here for about a month, but according to my apprentice, there was some disaster that occurred shortly before my arrival. I hope this is only a coincidence.

Ah, but you have just arrived here, ma'am? Then you know most of the the beginner knowledge that people have provided you with, correct?

[If not, then the Professor will gladly answer any and all questions! He's quite used to introducing new people to this world now.]

[OOC: Oh yes the story is so interesting. I just got done with the awesome scene in the casino. (not spoiling it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet~) It's so much more epic!]

I arrived yesterday. A little over halfway through Route 29 right now, if my map is right.

I've read the stuff that was given to me, yeah. So I'm aware of what to do. I've already caught a Pidgey to travel with me. [The Pidgey in question is seen running after a Hoppip in the background, attempting to peck at its head.]

The Cubone I started with doesn't seem to know any useful moves, so it's been difficult training with it so far.

(( OOC: Oh man, that casino scene was amazing. If you love those kind of scenes, wait till the end of the game. It's just filled with them every minute <3 ))

Ah, that's good to hear. It is always good to another Pokemon partner along the way, and if I remember correctly, it should take about a total of three whole days to reach Cherrygrove City in the shortest time.

Cubone? I am not sure as to what they are or what they look like, but surely it knows some moves to save you in a pinch.
