Around this time of the year, I always end up doing the same thing as part of my preparation for NaNoWriMo: read my books on writing. I'm almost finished with Stephen King's On Writing (the only book from King that I like!), and last night saw me digging out The Writer's Digest Handbook of Novel Writing to look something up. I just had this horrible realisation that I may write romance this November. An idea came to me this morning and it looks like a romance/mystery.
Wait... I can kill somebody and it'll look like a murder-mystery with romance... yeah... -
