Is there a rule somewhere that says you're not allowed to take points from someone if you've already broken the rules they've broken? Like if someone tries to make singing suits of armor again, you can't take points from them?
No such rule exists, obviously, or they would have known better than to make me head boy. I'm not sure there are very many things I'd be able to take people down for.
Oh, come off, if you were head boy, you'd do it, too. Besides, that wasn't abusing my authority. That was bloody generous of me. I could have easily taken twenty for a stunt like that.
No, not that. Though that would be FIFTY points if I decided to follow those rules. But that little explosion on the third floor corridor, that was points off.
Little children love you because you're a goof, which is more or less a reason why the Slytherins won't. I'm just warning you about abuse of power and other such things that I have a moral obligation to say to you.
