I think that the accusations in the letter were all far too ridiculous to be addressed and the only people who are stupid enough to believe such things are Slytherins and the person who wrote the damned thing.

Clearly, the only ones who believed them were either very stupid or very impressionable, probably both, but I assumed that it was my DUTY to address it.

Somehow I just knew that fictional rabbits were the sort of thing to get Sirius all hot and bothered.

The question that arises of course, is which one? Flopsy, Mopsy, or Cottontail?

It's true. He's obsessive, really. Sometimes I'll just see him staring off into space like he's caught in a day dream, and I just KNOW he's thinking about fictional rabbits. We've tried to intervene, but it's no use.

Alas, once you've set your sights on the wonders of Beatrix Potter's creations, it's a lost cause.

It's the natural Potter Charm. A blessing, and a curse.

Honestly? Sirius probably TOLD HER. You remember how weird Sirius was yesterday?

He seems to think that he was physically incapable of lying. Like, he couldn't lie. We tested it, too. He admitted to ruining my grey pants, AND ALSO to being a wanker, but.

Someday, someday, she'll be mine.

Well, I suppose one can always dream. I wish you the best, my man.

She's quite a firecracker, it's she?

Dreaming is my preferred medium on the subject.

indeed, Prongsie, she is! I shan't rest until I can call my dear sweet Minerva my own.

Assuming that the alternative is necrophilia, dreaming would be my favorite, too.

Well, I certainly wish you the best of luck in THAT endeavor. OH HOW SHE SPURNS YOUR LOVE!
