I have been wondering for a while what the status was of a band named Home Town Hero. They supposedly recorded a new CD a long time ago, and I had yet to hear anything about if/when it would be released. The Home Town Hero website still says nothing more than "coming soon". But.. I happened to look the band up on My Space the other day and found

i didn't realize they were still around. i mean, they may or may not be the same HTH that i knew a year or 4 ago. probably not, which is probably why they had to change their name.

Well, I thought that they had just totally broken up at some point, but Aaron and Drew from HTH are still in the band, along with Jamin Wilcox from Audiovent on drums. Apparently, they have a new bassist now named Josh Moreau and they are in the process of making an EP under the new name.

I hadn't heard anything since Ray left then. he's the reason I knew the band, since I've known him for ages...I'll have to listen to the new stuff..
