[Haku mumbles quietly to himself as he walks through the village, heading towards one of the shops. He's looking for food to purchase, but what he's found so far isn't to his liking, which might explain the vaguely annoyed mutterings.]

If this is what people consider food, I might be better off searching through the forest.

[Takato is walking quickly through the village in the other direction, holding a sack of bread in his arms. The sack is large enough that the boy is having some trouble seeing over it.]

I don't like food that has had unnatural things added to it.

Oh yeah, I've heard about that. A lot of chemicals are added to food these days, and some people worry about that and insist on only natural food, right?

I find that it's better for you if things have not been added to what you eat.

I might look into starting a garden, and making my own food.

Hm. You're still welcome to what we have at the Welcome Center, of course, but I won't take offense if it's not to your taste. At least spring is coming? It'll be warm enough to start a garden soon.
