The semester has started in full force. On top of tuition we had to buy $800 worth of medical equipment and $600 in books. I had a couple of small anxiety attacks and have stopped opening the Direct Loans statement that faithfully appears in my mailbox. My current understanding of the role is that I would advocate on behalf of my classmates. When we have trouble understanding certain profs or have grading issues I would represent them. I would also be taking on the challenge of promoting the Physician Assistant profession on campus and in the community. Running meetings, trying to get consesus, the usual... It never *sounds* like that much work when I explain it but... It'll be ok.
