Alright, so I just got to Austin two nights ago, and I'm shocked. I never expected Texas to be remotely scenic; just dry, sparse, and boring. But it's beautiful here. Ocala reminds me of a Valpo with palm trees. They're strikingly similar; really the biggest difference between the two is that homelessness is a lot more apparent in Ocala. I'm sure there are a decent amount of homebums in Valpo, considering that we have that Spring Valley Shelter, but here in Ocala it's pretty apparent that the homeless are out ( Read more... )

So thanksgiving was pretty fun. My sister came up from Indianapolis and we stayed over at my dad's house. I had several thanksgiving dinners, and we went to downtown chicago.
