I have this image of the president hitting his head/having a heart attack, sitting up, saying, "Eureka! I have discovered how to conquer the world."

Later, they go to the doctor and tell him/her their near death experience and the doctor says, "Is this going to cause you to change your life in a healthy way?"

The president says, "You know, it is! I'm going to go green! I'm going to do everything I can to create a sustainable world and eat organic food."

The doctor, of course, is thrilled, but the rest of us can see the dollar value of that near death experience radiating over our lives.

Sounds like a bad mockumentary. Yes.

They do have that, at least in Des Moines. I had a friend who worked for her membership and dragged me out at the crack of dawn to pick tomatoes and weed vegetables. Membership was more expensive though - like $400-500 per season, which I guess really isn't that much for organic vegetables.

i won't have to pick my own veggies, thank god, just have to pick them up at some pick up location. i'm a little concerned about joining cuz then i'll have to actually cook my own meals. HA!
