Thanks -- this fic basically wrote itself once I got started, but I did struggle a little with the ending. Then that line came to me...I'm glad it made you as happy as it made me.

I think I could have rambled on much longer -- I quite enjoyed writing this one. I decided to limit it to two hours and 1K-ish more for Good Life Decision reasons (in bed before two for once, hooray!) than lack of ideas.

You need to write more Bobby. His voice is perfect here.

Forehead feels and carried Dean and pukey Dean and not eating Dean and the ever fantastic post hell trauma Dean and Sam taking care of all of them.

The situation developed very logically in my brain -- Dean's carried because his leg is broken; if his leg is broken he must be a pain in the ass; if he's on pain meds he's probably loopy; if he's Dean he's probably taking his aspirin with whiskey; if they're needing to move him it's probably because he'd be in the way of some Business Transaction; if this is post-Hell then it's probably torture they don't want him to see. Then I started tagging it at hoodie_time, and I said 'Dear Lord, what have I done to this poor man?"

Glad to hear you enjoyed them all: my cruelty, then, is not in vain.

Wonderful work! The Bobby voice was spot-on, and Dean on a pills-and-booze diet was kind of cute and hilarious but at the same time a little heartbreaking. Also loving Sam being all "business as usual" and clearly knowing all the do's and don'ts of taking care of one sick and rebellious big brother. :)

Thanks! I think I tried Bobby once or twice before, but was never able to quite get his voice for whatever reason, so I was a little bit hesitant about using his POV for this one. Then I started writing, and he kind of took over my brain for a couple of hours. I enjoy the way his perspective lets you see a strangely funny side of what could otherwise be a very angsty and chick-flick-y situation. I'm glad to hear that worked for you, too.
